Wordless Sunday

Somehow that title doesn't sound as good as the alliterative version. I am really sad that the weekend is over. My husband will be leaving at 4 am on Tuesday to take Francesca to Dallas for her second fingers/toes surgery. He will be gone for five whole days!!!

Don't leave me with the children!!!!!

Even though we have tons of food, I have this irrational fear that we are going to run out of food while my husband is out of town. I have no idea how I will stuff Victoria in a shopping cart. What if someone falls and needs to go to the emergency room? What if the dishwasher breaks? What if I need more candy? Really, there is nothing to worry about. I can get Victoria into the car by myself  by breaking just a few back muscles. I am sure it will be fine, just fine! Right?

Sorry, this is not turning out to be wordless.......

And now, a word from our sponsor.......

  2. You are an inspiration to me. I can't believe how plump and cute Victoria has become. If I lived close to you, I would bring you food on an on-call basis:) Joy

  3. Oh goodness, you are all going through so much, and you just keep on keepin' on! You will do fine, but if you need something- especially candy- I will be glad to get it for you. I'm just around the corner! My number is the same, but in case you don't have it: 770-594-7225.

  5. Cracking up over the video you posted here. What a hoot!! And please don't ever go wordless on us. You're ever so much fun when you get talking. :-D

Yay for hubby taking Francesca for her surgery! Don't worry though...your fun escape with sweet Victoria is coming up soon too! (Go Shriners!)

  6. Praying for the trip and for Francesca's healing! How is Victoria's infection?

  7. You will be fine! Have pizza on speed-dial. Do you local grocery stores do delivery? How about something like an office-supply store (you can order chocolate by the case!)? Batton down the hatches! All will be well!
On a much smaller scale, I go through this every time my husband goes away on business, leaving me alone with the kids. We are in a big city with no family or friends, so I'm sort of stuck. I even drove myself to the hospital in labor!

  8. That's OK, wordless is not all it's cracked up to be.
I hope everything goes smoothly in both places while your husband and Francesca are gone.
I don't envy you with all the casts and bandages to change. But, you've got a young man and two young ladies who, of course, will be very helpful. And there's Little Catherine who, surely, will be happy to make sure things are running smoothly (or at least running). What could go wrong!
Prayers for safe travel, successful surgery, quick healing, and dry casts!
