Little Miracles

Check it out! This is the first time in many months that Victoria has been able to wear pants since her hip surgery. Look how close together her legs are! (of course, little Catherine is wearing her bathing suit. Again and again.)

Remember how wide her legs used to be?

She has such tiny little toes! I don't look forward to the surgery to fix her feet. More casts. I think we will wait awhile. She is getting around pretty well on them so far!

Who needs a walker when a chair is available! I remember when she was in the spica cast. I thought it would be forever until she started walking around again. She always proves me wrong.

I wonder how many more people we can squeeze onto the couch.

I couldn't figure out why Victoria was protesting everytime I tried to carry her up the stairs. Finally, I set her down.
"Geez Mom, don't you get it"

She is incredible!

I love how Francesca and Catherine are cheering her on.

Ok, maybe this is wishful thinking, but hopefully someday!

Another small miracle! I actually made home-made chicken pot pie.

Now I even know how to make a white sauce (heck, I just learned what a white sauce was!)

Even Catherine liked it and she doesn't like much, except for cabbages, of course.

These two are definitely trouble. Francesca has figured out how to open the refrigerator. She also drew all over her sister's math book. Victoria keeps shuffling into the bathroom and shutting the door on herself.

And......they both have stopped taking naps!!!! NOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

"See you all later! I've got places to go and things to destroy!"

  1. chicken pot pie! You are one step ahead of me friend :)

  2. Chicken pot pie is one of my favorite things to make since 1) I detest cooking 2) its so easy 3) all my kids love it.

  3. The indomitable spirit of Victoria! Great going, girl! They are all so cute! I don't blame you for postponing surgery/casts for awhile till you've all had time to breathe.
I LOVE homemade chicken pot pie but cooking, not so much. Looks good.

  4. Are those cloth diapers I see in the one pics?! Cute!!! Oh my goodness so much to say about these sweet angels. The pot pie looks absolutely amazing, yum!

Are you homeschooling? I'd love to hear what you're doing for this year if you are! We're just starting out and I'm reading up on everyone's homeschools!!!

  5. You go Victoria! I seriously cannot wait to see what she does as she gets older! She is one strong cookie!
The 2nd to last pic is just priceless! Its hard to tell who is going to get into more trouble! Sheri

  6. I bet you could fit more on that couch!

  7. So happy for Victoria! She's doing so well and is super duper cute! As are all your kids, it's so amazing to see the transformation that happens with LOVE (and surgeries),Francesca and Victoria have changed so so much! You're a great Mom! Seems like lots of fun goes on in your household - are you planning to make room on the couch for more??? :-)))

  8. I just can't get over Victoria....She's amazing!
