Little Miracles

Check it out! This is the first time in many months that Victoria has been able to wear pants since her hip surgery. Look how close together her legs are! (of course, little Catherine is wearing her bathing suit. Again and again.)

Remember how wide her legs used to be?

She has such tiny little toes! I don't look forward to the surgery to fix her feet. More casts. I think we will wait awhile. She is getting around pretty well on them so far!

Who needs a walker when a chair is available! I remember when she was in the spica cast. I thought it would be forever until she started walking around again. She always proves me wrong.

I wonder how many more people we can squeeze onto the couch.

I couldn't figure out why Victoria was protesting everytime I tried to carry her up the stairs. Finally, I set her down.
"Geez Mom, don't you get it"

She is incredible!

I love how Francesca and Catherine are cheering her on.

Ok, maybe this is wishful thinking, but hopefully someday!

Another small miracle! I actually made home-made chicken pot pie.

Now I even know how to make a white sauce (heck, I just learned what a white sauce was!)

Even Catherine liked it and she doesn't like much, except for cabbages, of course.

These two are definitely trouble. Francesca has figured out how to open the refrigerator. She also drew all over her sister's math book. Victoria keeps shuffling into the bathroom and shutting the door on herself.

And......they both have stopped taking naps!!!! NOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

"See you all later! I've got places to go and things to destroy!"

  3. The indomitable spirit of Victoria! Great going, girl! They are all so cute! I don't blame you for postponing surgery/casts for awhile till you've all had time to breathe.
I LOVE homemade chicken pot pie but cooking, not so much. Looks good.
