Zipping Around

I have a billion things I want to do to get ready to leave. I got the kids each (except for Elliot who will be super happy with some cash!) little presents for everyday that we will be gone. I decided to wrap them all, because I just don't have enough to keep me busy! Maybe I will pass that task onto my husband; he is a super wrapper. My wrapping looks like a two year old did it.

I still need to go shopping because I still have nothing to wear except for that yellow dress. I have to get all the prescriptions filled that I am taking so I don't throw up the whole time or spent excessive time in the bathroom.

I also have a million things that I have to do that I don't want to do , like trying to plan two weeks of meals so my mom doesn't have to cook for the kids. Also, I have to find many lost library books before we leave or the charges are going to be enormous. I also have to attend a heavy duty IEP meeting for Elliot two days before we leave. Nothing like waiting till the last minute.

But the most important thing I need to do is just be with my sweeties...

On a side note, we were at a very busy public bathroom today and Catherine yelled out, "Mommy, good job!!! You used the potty! Now I will give you exactly one piece of candy!" Then she started clapping and cheering. I hid in the stall until the laughter died down.

  3. Bahaha, I've been reading through your blog (in reverse order) as a new person to the RR community, and this one finally made me comment. One of my dear borrowed kids (long story) who used to call me mommy, when she was about 3, did about the same thing to me in a public restroom. She was in her stroller facing away from me but in the stall... and she wiggles and turns around and looks at me and goes, loudly (and there were plenty of other people in the restroom), "Mommy, you POOPIN?! It STINKY, Mommy!" Yeah, embarrassing enough. Then when a 17-year-old girl walked out with said little girl... well, you can only imagine how the embarrassment grew. LOL. Oh, kids... and how they embarrass us... and how we pay them back when they're teenagers...
