Little Miss Sunshine

Nastya is better!!! We went to her room again today and she still wasn't there. But as we were going down the stairs, a nurse was bringing her upstairs. She gave us the biggest smile!

She is feeling much better! Boy, can she eat! I brought about a cup of pasta, some cereal, yogurt and juice and she gobbled it all up! Her hands do not slow her down at all.

Sidewalks are used for many things besides walking here. Children use them for a peeing station. Cars use them for a road. People use them to sell everything from pig heads to underwear. Dogs use them for sleeping.

We went to a pizza place today that had nothing in English. I opened my arms and made a big circle and they brought us a pizza! Pizzas are delicious here! I love their sauce. Two big pizzas and two drinks were only $7.00!

Hmmmm.....which way should we go? We have no idea!

A very popular creature here. The big lips are a little scary!

Tired? Take a seat!

They weren't too thrilled with the swings!

Nastya loves balls!

Someday Moira, you will smile!

  10. The little girl in the blog pic with the stars turtleneck could be my Maia, she wore the same outfit forever! stars turtleneck from target and pink sweatpants! funny! your new little girls are darling. I had no idea Nastya was SO TINY! Moira may need a lot of time to realise that she has the power to make you respond. probably no one does thats why she doesnt bother to cry when you take something away. she is so precious and to see her laying her head on your shoulders and tummies is so sweet, I would say its a step in the right direction! My Ethan is from R. he was 2 when he came home and SO TINY. no AMC but tiny and similar with the blank looks. he changed a lot once we took him out of the orphanage forever. Sophie was a favorite and was in charge at her orphanage in U and would scream and wail when she wanted something and they would give to her to shut her up. lol you could have THAT problem! I know she will come around. I am so happy that you decided to pursue her adoption!

  11. What PRECIOUS little girls, I kept reading tonight until I could get to the part where you met them, and now I can't stop, at least until Gotcha Day. This is why I've been up all night every night for weeks. Absorbed in adoption blogs.

And by the way, that big hand chair, would make me feel like I was being seriously groped. LOL!
