Angels and Spiders and Hair Dressers, oh my!

We had a really peaceful weekend. The kids were all angels!

They made new friends.

Tried out some new hair-do's.

Then, we decided to go downtown to Piedmont park. Parking was $15, so we walked about a million miles before we even got to the park, but the whole point was an adventure, right? Francesca said, "Get out!" every five seconds.

Even though it is still 70 degrees here, the leaves are just starting to turn. Catherine wanted to take loads of leaves home and she wanted me to be in charge of carrying them all.

It wasn't quite as good as Central Park, but still, a very fun time.

As soon as Victoria saw this toy fire truck, she began yelling, "weeeeeoohhhhh". The girl knows her alarm sounds.

The playground was really cool too.

You don't see huge slides like this in the suburbs!

And real wooden see-saws. I love this picture of Victoria. She just looks like a regular kid. No one would ever guess all she has been through.

Just a kid, walking along (notice she only needs to hold onto one hand now!)

Someone is getting tired, so someone else, meaning me, got to carry the tired one all the way back to the car. I gotta get a triple stroller. Francesca can walk farther than Catherine any day.

A new burst of energy!

Daredevil! Going down headfirst!

Today, the girls gave us a big surprise. They made us breakfast and we even got our own place cards.

Anastasia even led me to my seat and pushed my chair in. The girl has been well versed in visiting restaurants.

Three little peas on a bench.

Hope everyone had a happy weekend!
