Just Some Little Bits

My only cake pan, so sad! Well, at least it gives me an excuse to go shopping.  When Isabella opened up the cupboard and the pan fell out, she looked up at me, shocked, and cried, "Who did that?" Hmmmm....it must have been that invisible creature who lives in our house and messes things up.

Ever since we had to trapse through a graveyard to see the fireworks on the 4th, Catherine has been very interested in graveyards. Today I found out why.
She asked me, "When we go back to the graveyard, can we get some gravy there?" Surely! Hopefully some mashed potatoes too!

I have been teaching my son to drive. Tomorrow I am investing in massive amounts to hair dye to get all the gray out of my hair. I actually let him drive on a real road today. The speed limit was 45 mph, but I made him go 25. We had a whole parade of cars behind us that were not amused.

Tomorrow at 9 am, I will be dragging five kids to the neurologist for Victoria to get hooked up for her amulatory EEG. I am thinking that perhaps we will stick close to home tomorrow.

and everyday I'm shuffling......

  1. Have you done an ambulatory in super hot weather before? If not, I strongly recommend staying in AC, as you can sweat your leads off, and then get a nice report of artifact.

    I'm glad you're back online.

  2. I am glad you got the computer situation in hand, too. I MISSED your delightful comments and seeing the pics of all your delightful children, too! Just LOOK at the progress of Victoria in getting her legs to close up! Hurrah for Victoria!
Hurrah also for your handsome son, learning to drive and for his mom who is being so brave. He will be a great help to you all once he is a trustworthy driver. ~ Tharen

    1. Who needs cake anyways? Ha, ha, I do!!! Sorry about the cake pan, congrats on the new driver, and prayers for an uneventful EEG.

  3. I just went through the terror of teaching my teen to drive. I honestly think that was the hardest part of parenting yet!
