Dye Job

or maybe I should call it a "cry job" cause I was bawling when I saw my hair!

Anastasia had a plan of her own on Saturday. She wanted us to have matching hair color. I tried to point out that both of us already have brown hair, but this did not dissuade her. I let her pick the color, and as you probably saw on the Buddy Walk pictures, she choose pink. Catherine wisely declined to partake in this adventure.

First we had to bleach certain sections of our hair.

I really did not think this through very carefully.

Poor "Great" was caught in the cross-fire.

I kind of got distracted and forgot to time how long the pink was on my hair! Not exactly the subtle look I was going for.

The good news is that no one has been staring at the babies as much anymore; they are blinded by my hair!

  2. A cancer survivor at my job dyed her hair pink last week in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness month. When I saw your pics I thought that's why you all did it too. Looks sweet. Thanks for all you share, I love your blog. SharonSharon
