The Luckiest One

There is a a kid's book by Bill Peet called "The Luckiest One of All" that I saw at the library the other day. I have to admit, I have not been feeling very lucky lately, but rather overwhelmed and stressed. Everyone keeps telling me how strong I am, but mostly I am faking it. I don't feel strong.

I was all ready to write a big whiny post, but when I downloaded my pictures from today, I realized, I am indeed, the luckiest one of all.

So lucky to have such wonderful daughters who like to read to their little sisters.



So lucky to hear laughter.



So lucky to have such a terrific mom.



So lucky to have great friends.


Of course, I am blessed by many, many more people, but these pictures are just from today. They kind of made my whinies melt away.


Sometimes I just need a good kick in the pants!!!

    You are blessed.. you do realize that don't you? You have a beautiful family but much more important you have a beautiful heart. It is that heart... which is full and spills over to touch so many. Without you.. there would be no them. You are the heart of your family. No matter what happens in the future you gave them today. You gave them a family. They will always have and keep that with them. ;o)
